Design Process - Philosophy

When a novice architect first learns about the design process in his early years, he or she may soon realize that there is a constant need to step back and constantly re-innovate to move forward again and re-tweak until the process gives way to clarity and form. Sometimes the need to completely scrap the whole design, just to start at a new beginning.
These motions are common to all design processes.

Conception can never "just happen in an instant" by itself, this is only privy to the creator. The need to be patient with the process is what makes a successful designer.

The Design process also seems to play out in our everyday existence, and when we look backwards in time, within our lives we see the same ebb and flow from hope to despair and the benefits that the trials and errors have harvested.

The point is to never to give up and not to be distracted, no matter how difficult it is, pushing forward to allow the process to unfold is the key to everything.
